CEO Jukka Viinanen at Orion's AGM: Good Start for 2005. Full-Year Outlook Unchanged

In his presentation of the 2004
Financial Statements to the Annual General Meeting of Orion
Corporation, starting at 5 pm today in Helsinki, Mr. Jukka Viinanen,
CEO of the Orion Group, will inform that the profitability of the
Orion Group has shown very positive development in the first months
of 2005 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year,
thanks to the good performance of the Orion Pharma business division
in particular. Mr. Viinanen points out, however, that because of
periodic fluctuations in sales and costs there is no reason to change
the full-year outlook provided when the 2004 results were disclosed
in February.

A stock exchange release will be published later today about the
decisions of the AGM.
