iQ Power starts Sales of 2nd Generation Passive Mixing Parts, iQ2

Zug/Switzerland, 31 January 2014 - iQ Power AG (ISIN: CH0020609688, German
Securities Code Number (WKN): A0DQVL; ISIN: CH0199540599, German Securities
Code Number (WKN): A1J7TW), a developer and marketer of technologies for
environmentally friendly and technologically leading starter batteries for
motor vehicles and licences in these technologies, announces the start of
sales of 2nd Generation Passive Mixing Parts, iQ2.

iQ Power confirms the delivery of Passive Mixing Parts for approximately
25,000 battery sets to the Licensee and strategic Partner, Discover Energy
International (Hong Kong), as was anticipated in the last ad hoc report.
Successive orders are anticipated for the coming months ahead with
increasing volumes. The production of batteries from the subcontractor of
Discover Energy International will begin around the beginning of March.
From that point forward, they will be able to fill orders on a continual
basis.

The production and distribution of the Passive Mixing Parts is an important
component of the long-term strategy of iQ Power. By supplying parts on as
needed basis, the financial barrier of capital investment for Licensees is
eliminated. Through the distribution of the Passive Mixing Parts, iQ Power
gains an additional revenue channel, while at the same time, increasing
visibility into the exact product requirements of Licensees.

CEO, Bob Sullivan stated, 'The current development is an important step in
the right direction and proves out our strategy to concentrate on licensing
the technology. For 2014, we expect significant sales volumes.'
