April 30, 2009 - As per 31 December 2008 FORTUNE Management Inc. (General Standard, ISIN: USU026281027; SIN: A0BLYY) has successfully accomplished the reorganization initiated in 2007. Therewith a comprehensive debt relief of the Group of over 55% and a complete dissolution of the "discontinued operations" could be achieved.
The net result before minority interest was negative with kEUR -18.492 (2007: kEUR -148.825), which was ultimately caused by the attributable losses of the discontinued operations (kEUR -25.277). The result of the continuing operations was positive by kEUR 6.785. Since the attributable interest of minorities reached kEUR -18.945 the attributable result to equity holders is positive by kEUR 453 (2007: kEUR -101.117).
All discontinued operations are disclosed according IFRS 5, which results in a strongly altered representation of the financial situation and results.
Today the management assumes that the successful restructuring and the solid debt-relief as well as the secured going concern of the Fortune Management Group will have a positive effect on the further development and activities of the Fortune Management Group.
