Cotecna is awarded an inspection contract in Bangladesh and opens two new offices.

Cotecna is proud to announce the signature of a three year Preshipment Inspection (PSI) contract with the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. This contract which covers the inspection of imported goods commences on September 1st, 2005.
Four inspection companies have been selected to share the Preshipment inspection mandate which has been split into five geographical zones. Cotecna is the only company that has been awarded two zones by the Government of Bangladesh. Cotecna's geographical area covers the major exporting countries including China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Cotecna has opened two new offices in Dhaka and Chittagong and will have an operational workforce of approximately sixty people by September 1st, 2005.
