ErSol continues its success in securing raw materials: contract
concluded for Wacker silicon

ErSol Solar Energy AG (ErSol) has today signed a contract with Wacker
Chemie AG, Germany, the world's second-largest provider of
polysilicon for the semiconductor and photovoltaic industry, for the
delivery of the scarce raw material. The contract will be effective
from 2009 and will give ErSol an additional production output of
approximately 100 MWp over six years. The price for the silicon has
been agreed and set down for the entire term of the contract. It is
planned that ErSol will make down payments. ErSol’s success in
securing this material means that the Company can probably raise its
expansion targets once again. ErSol plans to reach a nominal capacity
of at least 220 MWp in the solar cells area as early as 2009.
