In the customer satisfaction survey recently carried out by comparis.ch, the internet comparison service, M...MasterCard from Migros came away with the top score in the hit parade of credit cards. This card, which is issued by GE Money Bank, received the highest score of 5.2 points from the group of 12 issuers and was awarded the Comparis certificate.
The M...MasterCard from Migros, which was launched in November 2006 as the M-Budget MasterCard, has improved its position over last year in the comparis.ch customer satisfaction survey and received the top overall mark of 5.2 out of a possible 6 points. 853 people from all over Switzerland took part in the survey.
Top Marks for Charges and Costs
The card was awarded the top score of 5.1 points in the area of customer satisfaction as regards charges and costs. This confirms the finding that the Migros credit card is seen as the most attractive in the market. The M...MasterCard is free; in other words, there's no annual charge. It is full-service credit card that can be used at home and abroad. The annual interest rate of 9.9% is one of the lowest in the market.
Customers were especially impressed by the additional services provided by the card. These received the outstanding mark of 5.8 points. This result is primarily due to Migros' unique CUMULUS bonus program. When cardholders use their cards at Migros and elsewhere, both at home and abroad, they accumulate valuable CUMULUS points. These are then paid out in the form of vouchers, which are equivalent to cash.
Customers gave the M...MasterCard a very good score of 5.5 points for the clarity and layout of the credit card statement. The M...MasterCard was also awarded an outstanding 5.7 points for its cardholder support services in the event of loss or other problems that can arise.
Moreover, the Comparis survey documents the fact that credit card holders in Switzerland behave extremely responsibly. 77 percent of them explicitly declared that they paid their credit card bills in full each month and not in installments.
