After the conclusion of the third quarter (1 March to 31 May 2007), SinnerSchrader has adjusted its income forecast for the 2006/2007 financial year. The re-integration of the previously independent operative units under the agency brand of SinnerSchrader led to costs between EUR 0.2 and 0.3 million in the third quarter. It will probably not be possible to compensate for these costs by the end of the financial year.
The operating result (EBITA) in the third quarter will therefore be lower than planned and slightly less than in the previous year. Even if the target revenues of EUR 18.2 million are achieved, SinnerSchrader will, based on the latest forecast, fall between EUR 0.2 and 0.3 million short of its goal of EUR 1.2 million for the financial year as a whole.
SinnerSchrader's new structure has met with a positive response on the side of the market and customers. Incoming orders in the third quarter were 17 per cent higher than in the previous quarter and 13 per cent higher than in the previous year. Furthermore, in June, the Scandinavian shoe brand Ecco asked SinnerSchrader to develop and implement its worldwide Internet strategy.
SinnerSchrader will publish its final figures for the third quarter on 12 July 2007.
