Record Sales of KTM - over 500 million EUR for the first time

•       Sales Revenues: EUR 504.5 million (KTM Group GmbH: + 12 % vs. previous
        year)
•       EBITDA: EUR 53.9 million (KTM Group GmbH: + 28 % vs. previous year)
•       EBIT: EUR 34.0 million (KTM Group GmbH: + 38 % vs. previous year)
•       Motorcycle sales: 84,421, + 5 % vs. previous year
•       Equity ratio: 39.1 %

Consolidated sales revenues of KTM Power Sports AG: EUR 504.5 million

The interim figures indicate that in the last business year sales
revenues of KTM Power Sports AG could be increased to EUR 504.5
million.  At the same time we succeeded to raise the EBIT by 38% at
the level of KTM Group. EBITDA amounts to EUR 53.9 million with a
margin of 10.7%.  This success is a result of new attractive products
in the 2-cylinder as well as in the offroad segments, a positive
development of productivity and costs especially in purchasing and of
a broader dealer network.

Employees: 1,692, +7% vs. previous year

At the end of the business year, KTM employed 1,692 persons, thereof
1,263 in Mattighofen. The location Mattighofen has been strengthened
with an increase of 89 employees.

Outlook / Investments in Mattighofen

In the last business year KTM has again heavily invested in the
product development in order to continue ongoing growth with products
in new niches in the onroad motorcycle segment and the development of
innovative 4-wheel products. The focus has been laid on the engine
development, extension of the onroad racing (with first victories in
the 250 ccm class) as well as the construction of a new spare parts
centre.

The final figures for the business year 2005/06 are to be published
on November 9, 2006.
