3 December 2007 - Gerhard Rumpff, Management Board member and former CEO of asknet AG, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for global software distribution via the Internet (electronic software distribution), will resign from the asknet Management Board as planned. Upon completion of the period of handing over to his successor Gerald Prior, Mr. Rumpff will leave the company on 31 January 2008.
As already announced in August 2007, Gerhard Rumpff relinquished his position as the company´s CEO for personal reasons. On 1 September 2007 Gerald Prior took over this function and has since been responsible for the areas of Strategy, Investments, Sales, Marketing and Corporate Communications.
