On revenues of EUR 192.2 m (1-9/2000: EUR 185.8 m), the Group posted greatly improved EBT of EUR 2.0 m (1-9/2000: EUR -4.0 m). This improvement in the result is largely attributable to the effects of the reorganisation at Metz.
Group Management expects that EBT for the year 2001 as a whole will be in the region of EUR 3.5 m to EUR 4.0 m (2000: EUR 2.7 m), on total revenues roughly the same as those achieved last year (2000: EUR 287.7 m). In view of the continued implementation of the reorganisation and rationalisation measures, the projects that are currently being worked on in the field of international business, and the deliveries that are due to commence next year under the major order from Saudi Arabia, further growth in revenues and earnings may be expected in 2002.
