The Rosenbauer Group has recently signed a contract with the Saudi Ministry of the Interior for the delivery of 125 rescue and fire fighting vehicles and technical fire-brigade equipment worth a total of USD 20.2 m.
Over the past four years, Rosenbauer has already supplied the Saudi Arabian fire-brigades with more than 550 vehicles and equipment for over 10,000 fire-fighters.
Rosenbauer won this latest order in the face of stiff competition and the decisive factors in this success were excellent quality and the extremely smooth handling of previous deliveries.
The vehicles are to be manufactured by the Rosenbauer America / Central Division in the USA and delivered to the customers until first quarter 2007.
Rosenbauer is also enjoying great success with the PANTHER, its top air-crash tender. 65 vehicles were sold in 2005 alone and have been delivered to airports around the globe.
According to Julian Wagner, President of the Rosenbauer Group, "The achievements of recent months confirm the prudence of our systematic internationalisation strategy. With the solid order situation and the positive results derived from continuous process improvement, we await a further increase in Group earnings during the 2006 financial year."
