Cuxhaven, August 12, 2004 - The Plambeck Neue Energien AG will make use of the possibility to postpone the reporting date for the first half yearly report for 2004 to the end of September at the latest. The report cannot be published on August 13th, 2004 as planned, because, as for all wind farm developers, a re-evaluation of the existing projects has to be considered due to the amendment of the Reneweable Energies Act .
Martin Billhardt, who became the financial manager of the Plambeck Neue Energien AG in early August, will ensure that this re-evaluation will be handeled as rapid as possible. This time consuming re-evaluation can have an impact on the figures for the first half year, even though the Amendment became Law on August 1, 2004. To ensure a transparent an actual reporting, the re-evaluation will not take place with the report for the 3rd quarter, which is planned to be published in mid November. This postponement of the publishing to a period after August 31, 2004 is subject to the approval of the committee on stock listing.
