TOMORROW FOCUS AG Records Special Items in 3rd Quarter of 2007
Munich, Germany, October 9, 2007 - TOMORROW FOCUS AG records nonrecurring special items in the third quarter of 2007.
Based on preliminary figures, TOMORROW FOCUS AG will realize exceptional profits of an estimated EUR 5.8 million from the sale of its shares in BELLEVUE AND MORE GmbH amounting to 41.7%.
Furthermore, due to the approval of the 2008 German Corporate Tax Reform Act (Unternehmenssteuerreformgesetz) by the Federal Council of Germany (Bundesrat), the Management Board of TOMORROW FOCUS AG decided on a one-time reduction of deferred tax assets by approximately EUR 1.9 million in the 3rd quarter of 2007.
Lastly, an efficiency enhancement program was approved in the 3rd quarter, resulting in nonrecurring charges against earnings for the 3rd quarter to a total amount of approximately EUR 0.7 million.
Apart from that, the Management Board anticipates that the operational course of business will continue as planned in the 2nd half of 2007.
