Saarbrücken, 2 July 2008 - ItN Nanovation AG (ISIN DE000A0JL461) has just strengthened its marketing department at management level. With effect from 1 July 2008, Dr Roland Schlager (aged 48) has been appointed by the Supervisory Board as the Member of the Management Board responsible for Marketing and Distribution. Dr Schlager is a founder and Managing Director of 2i international GmbH. He has many years of international experience in the development of young companies, which as a result of his input have frequently succeeded in raising their revenues into the hundreds of millions. It will be his task in this new position to accelerate the market success of ItN Nanovation's products even more forcibly, and to contribute to the further growth of the company.
The appointment of the former CFO of ItN Nanovation AG, Romeo Volz, has been terminated by the Supervisory Board with effect from 1 July 2008. He leaves ItN Nanovation AG with the best possible feelings on both sides, and will continue to be associated with the company as a shareholder. His shares are subject to a holding period of a further 12 months. The Finance and Production division will in future be managed by the CEO, Dr Tillmann Lauk, along with his other responsibilities.
In this way ItN Nanovation AG thinks it has established an excellent basis for realising its planned growth in the current year.
