Schrobenhausen, December 21, 2007 - BAUER Aktiengesellschaft (ISIN DE0005168108) increases its profit guidance (net profit after interest and tax) for the current financial year 2007 from so far at least EUR 55 million to over EUR 65 million (previous year EUR 35 million). The increase is due to the excellent business development that is anticipated for the fourth quarter as well as for the full year 2007 (January 1 until December 31, 2007). In the Equipment Segment the net profit can clearly be improved by our excellent year-end business; in the Construction Segment some projects were finished with better results than expected in some geographical markets. Guidance for total Group revenues for the full year remains presently unchanged at around EUR 1.2 billion (previous year EUR 980 million).
