Zurich (ots)
An international Java technology conference that goes by the name "Jazoon" will be held from June 24-28 in Zurich's Hallenstadion. The conference organizers Sun Microsystems (Schweiz) AG, Netcetera and cR Kommunikation announced the event at a press conference today. Jazoon is aimed at the professional Java community, young professionals, as well as seasoned IT experts and managers. The conference organizers are expecting 2000 attendees from Switzerland, the surrounding European countries, Eastern Europe, the Middle and Far East and from overseas. During the four day-long event, IT professionals will discuss the newest developments, current trends and key dimensions of Java and open source technologies. An appealing program of ancillary events, as well as a range of conference services, will allow for optimal information transfer and a congenial atmosphere. In addition to a day-long preconference event featuring tutorials, as well as an extensive conference program, Jazoon will also have tool and solution provider booths, a job forum and numerous networking events.
The conference program will be elaborated by a committee of prominent specialists chaired by Netcetera CTO Joachim Hagger. The committee will select presenters and the relevant conference themes via a call for papers beginning this October.
