Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA has raised its share in the portfolio company, Culavis GmbH, by 10 percent to now 48 percent. Besides the purchase price for the shares, Leonardo Venture is also making a silent participation bound by various milestones available in an amount of EUR 417,500.
With funds committed of EUR 650,000, Leonardo Venture had secured the original participation of 38 percent on 1 December 2006.
The liquidity flowing in will be used to develop a functioning prototype by the end of the year, which would make Culavis GmbH an extremely attractive acquisition target for a major medical systems manufacturer.
