The Supervisory Board of Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA and the general partner, Leonardo Venture Capital GmbH, have agreed that Leonardo Venture Capital GmbH will terminate its shareholder position in Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA with effect from 31.12.2008. Notice of termination has meanwhile been filed. The Supervisory Board and the general partner have also agreed that the ability of Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA to conduct legal transactions should be created by issuing a power of attorney to ELGE Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH based in Heidelberg, whose managing director is Mr. Steffen Paul. Mr. Steffen Paul has also been granted individual signatory rights (Prokura) at Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA. The Supervisory Board, the general partner and the holder of powers of attorney are preparing to transform Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA into a stock corporation under German law (Aktiengesellschaft). In the operational area, increases in the shares held in portfolio companies are imminent and new, promising investments are currently being reviewed.
