Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA is to submit an application to Frankfurt Stock Exchange requesting the revocation of the admission to listing of its securities in the Regulated Market with additional follow-up obligations (Prime Standard). Accordingly, the Company´s shares will then be traded in the General Standard of Deutsche Börse. This resolution has been adopted by the managing director of the general partner, Mr. Steffen Paul, and the Supervisory Board of the Company.
The management has made a conscious decision to change from the Prime Standard to the General Standard as the annual costs for the follow-up obligations can thus be reduced by a six-figure sum. In view of the relatively small size of the company and the fact that the shareholders are primarily resident in Germany, the time and cost associated with a listing in the Prime Standard does not currently appear justified. A further reason for the change of segment is the fact that with this measure the management can concentrate more on the operating business.
Leonardo Venture remains obliged to make ad hoc announcements and will report regularly on its business development. There will be full compliance with transparency obligations in accordance with the requirements of Deutsche Börse.
