Vienna, 29 June 2007: The international industrial group A-TEC Industries AG (ISIN AT00000ATEC9) discloses today the holding of a 15.1% stake or respectively 5,620,600 shares of Norddeutsche Affinerie AG (ISIN DE0006766504). The stake increased from 10.0% previously announced to 15.1%.
A-TEC Industries AG shall be understood in this regard as long-term investor. The purchase price was not disclosed.
About Norddeutsche Affinerie AG: The Norddeutsche Affinerie Group is the largest copper producer in Europe and as well the largest copper recycler worldwide. It produces about 800,000 tonnes of copper and copper products annually and with about 3,200 employees is one of the leading copper producers worldwide.
