Düsseldorf, June 18, 2008 - Today the Supervisory Board of Versatel AG,
Berlin, ISIN: DE000A0M2ZK2, has consented to the acquisition of AKF Telekabel TV und Datennetze GmbH (AKF), Frankfurt am Main. AKF is part of the Deutsche Wohnen AG group. AKF is a level 4 cable operator with 76,000 reachable households. The purchase price amounts E 30 million including debts. The deal has still to be granted by the German cartel office.
