Fortune Graphite (ZTW1, Frankfurt Exchange), announces it will begin the 2008 exploration & drilling program; starting with the mapping, sampling and trenching of the Fortune Graphite properties this spring in preparation for taking its properties into production.
The company has identified the first properties it wants to bring to production and will be focusing its 2008 mapping and trenching program on these properties.
The company has acquired a wide range of properties that enhance shareholder value including:
- AA 1-22/AA Bentinck graphite-bearing properties containing an average of 12.26 percent graphite carbon content.
- Fortune Graphite amorphous graphite properties that have 6.6 million tonnes of inferred reserves currently worth $167 million
- Lardo South silver properties that show up to 250 grams per tonne of silver
