Syzygy AG acquires internationally renowned Interactive Agency
- Syzygy AG takes over 80 per cent of the shares of Hi-ReS! Ltd., London - Further strengthening of the creative competence in the British market
Frankfurt, January 15, 2008 Upon approval by the Supervisory Board, the Syzygy AG Management Board today signed a purchase agreement over 80 per cent of the shares of London-based creative agency Hi-ReS! Ltd. The acquisition is effective immediately. Both parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
Hi-ReS! (Handsome information - Radical entertainment Systems!) was founded by the two Germans Florian Schmitt and Alexandra Jugovic in 1999. The design- studio is one of the world´s leading interactive agencies and enjoys an outstanding reputation in the branch of business. Hi-ReS! was honoured with numerous creative accolades, including a BAFTA and two Cyber Lions in Cannes.
The transaction is part of Syzygy´s growth strategy. The acquisition shall further enhance the creative potential of the Syzygy Group particularly in the British market. Hi-ReS! stays an independent unit within the Group and keeps its own, well established name. The client list includes top brands such as Adidas, Diesel, Dolce & Gabbana, EMI, Nokia and Sony.
