Roding, 09 April 2008 - Mühlbauer Holding AG & Co. KGaA, quoted on the Prime Standard and worldwide active independent advisor and manufacturer of innovative security solutions for the TECURITY® market, announces that it has received a major order of a European country for the technology transfer for the production of electronic ID documents.
The project volume of approx. EUR 30 million contains the gradual realization of the government project. Mühlbauer provides the whole equipment and raw materials for the production and the personalization of the electronic ID documents.
In meeting the stringent governmental specifications and requirements Mühlbauer can benefit from its know-how and experience in dealing with about 100 ID projects: Numerous governments and states trust already in the system solutions from Mühlbauer for the production of innovative identification and registration documents ranging from ID cards to the latest ePassport. Thereby Mühlbauer is the only company worldwide capable of offering turn-key and complete solutions for any kind of ID project and realizing different customer requirements.
