September 23, 2010 - centrotherm SiTec GmbH, a one hundred percent subsidiary of centrotherm photovoltaics AG, signed an agreement yesterday for the shipment of several multi-crystalline ingot furnaces to the major Chinese state company Shaanxi Tianhong Silicon Industrial Corporation Co. Ltd. (STSIC). The furnaces will be delivered in the first quarter of 2011. The first silicon ingots will be produced just six weeks later. The investment amount is in the single-digit million range in euros. As the company announced a few days ago, centrotherm SiTec prevailed over renowned competitors to win the tender.
