Former Model Victoria Silvstedt Trades Catwalk for Financial Markets
Denmark (ots/PRNewswire)
Model, actress and television personality Victoria Silvstedt has turned her hand to financial market trading she told Saxo Bank's social trading community, TradingFloor.com in an interview with SaxoTV
The Swedish born, "Playmate Of The Year" started trading following the global financial crisis in 2008.
Like many people, she admits to losing a lot of money at the time. After getting burned, she decided it was time to take control of her finances and she taught herself how to trade, looking first at fixed income and then moving into FX and equity dealing.
Today, Victoria Silvstedt is the one in charge of her investments and trading is a part of her life.
When trading currencies, she says she "never gets out before I get my money back". That has served her well, being long dollar over the past few months.
Although a multi asset trader, she's cautious about emerging markets and has a renewed interest in Europe.
