Stake will be acquired in approximately equal share by the foundations of the C-QUADRAT founders
Vienna, Frankfurt, 31 July 2008. C-QUADRAT Investment AG (ISIN AT0000613005) announced that RPR private foundation will increase its holding in C-QUADRAT Investment AG, Vienna from the current level of approximately 2% to approximately 16%. This is subject to the relevant authorities. This increase will be carried in roughly equal parts by T.R. private foundation and San Gabriel private foundation -with the accession of the syndicate already existing between T.R. private foundation und San Gabriel private foundation.
The Austrian entrepreneur Ronny Pecik is the chief force behind the RPR private foundation, while the two C-QUADRAT founders Alexander Schütz and Thomas Rieß are behind T.R private foundation and San Gabriel private foundation. After conclusion of the transaction, the foundations of the two C-QUADRAT founders and RPR private foundation will hold approximately the same stake in the company. The largest single shareholder of C-QUADRAT Investment AG is the Auer von Welsbach Group with a stake of over 30%. The remaining shares are in the free float.
