Sonnenhof Swiss Health is taking "Swissness" to hospitals in India

Swiss hospital standards are in demand abroad. In collaboration with an Indian company, Sonnenhof Swiss Health Ltd (SSH) introduces a new service offering for leading Indian hospitals with the aim of their attaining Swiss quality assurance standards.
The cooperation of Hexel and SSH is based on a combination of strengths. SSH - an associated company of the Sonnenhof hospitals in Bern - can draw on an in-depth fund of knowledge that the Sonnenhof hospitals in Bern have built up over the decades. The company has incorporated extensive experience in advising hospitals abroad and multi-faceted medical and commercial expertise. Hexel, on the other hand, has a comprehensive knowledge of the Indian hospital market and an excellent network in healthcare, which will facilitate the offering of services customized to local conditions.
Sonnenhof continuing its pioneering role
This move once more demonstrates the Sonnenhof Group's pioneering role in the export of Swiss hospital management know-how. During the last year it has already attracted attention by being the first Swiss hospital to take over the management of a hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
Swiss quality assurance standard is rewarded
In India, the objective is to have Indian hospitals attain the quality assurance standard of "The Swiss Leading Hospitals" (SLH) - an association of leading Swiss private hospitals. By implementing these quality improvement efforts, hospitals can achieve the award as "Accredited Member of The Swiss Leading Hospitals". This award is not SSH's only goal in India: By entering in long-term cooperation with hospitals, SSH and Hexel will go one step further and put a strong emphasis on continuous quality improvement initiatives.
