Qnective AG ( http://www.qnective.com/ ) is looking back on a very successful first 6 months of 2012. The Swiss based company, founded in 2006, offers services in communications security and secure Voice over IP solutions to customers all over the world. The business development pipeline is increasingly positive with several clients, among them international governments, confirming orders already in 2012 with deployment to occur in stages over the coming years. Other highlights from the current fiscal year include the engagement of Mirjana Blume as the new Chief Financial Officer in January as well as the launch of the fifth release of the core Qnective product, Qtalk Secure.
Developing, distributing and customizing products for encrypted mobile communication services, Qnective fills a lucrative market niche in the Swiss and international communications security market. The main products of the company include not only their own secure applications for mobile and VoIP communications, but also the development of secure communications platforms for every customer need imaginable. The planning, design and implementation of complex security projects is also one of the key services of the Swiss company. Customers include governments and governmental organizations, military organizations, high net worth individuals/families and any company with a special need for secure data transmission. The mandates achieved already in 2012 serve as an important ongoing reference in securing future business in new regions around the world. Innovative software products developed exclusively in Switzerland
The solid foundation for the success of the company, based in Zurich-Oerlikon, lies with their proprietary software products. In particular, Qtalk Secure, one of Qnective's applications, allows mobile phone users to communicate (voice, instant messaging, SMS etc.) securely over a fully encrypted channel within a closed user group of trusted contacts anywhere in the world. It can be installed on common smartphone mobile devices and desktop PCs. With its user-friendly interface, registered users exchange their data in a tap-proof environment. The exchange of sensitive data is protected not just from the external world but even from internal sources that have been compromised, like IT administrators for example. With the increasing media hype surrounding leaked confidential information over mobile networks, this is surely a product with a very interesting future.
