GENEVA, Switzerland, July 13, 2011 -- Weatherford International Ltd. (NYSE /
Euronext Paris / SIX: WFT) today informs its shareholders that a Form 8-K has
been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). The Form
8-K includes a disclosure that the company has amended its existing senior
credit agreement to increase the facility size from US$1.75 billion to US$2.25
billion, extend the scheduled maturity date to July 13, 2016 and decrease the
interest rate margins under the facility.
