Dear media representatives,
We are delighted to present you with the Kunstmuseum Bern's annual preview 2025!
The first half of the year is devoted to two pioneers of their time: Marisa Merz, whose work is distinguished by its subtle power, was one of the leading figures of the post-war Italian art scene. Carol Rama is one of the outstanding women artists of the modern period, who only achieved fame late in life. Her works, marked by elemental human experiences, still have an impact today. In the autumn, the Kunstmuseum Bern is showing a large exhibition on Ernst Ludwig Kirchner in which the artist is presented for the first time as a curator of his own work.
