Dear media representatives,
Until 1 June 2025, in the context of the dynamic permanent exhibition Kosmos Klee. The Collection, the Zentrum Paul Klee is showing a thematic focus on the musical aspects in Paul Klee’s life and work in the Fokus room.
Paul Klee was distinguished by his twofold talent as artist and musician. Even as a young man he played the violin in the city orchestra, and later played with his wife Lily, who was a pianist. Featuring works from the collection, archive material and a selection of pieces of music, the exhibition examines the connection between music and art in Klee’s work, as well as his love of classical music.
Curator Fabienne Eggelhöfer is available for tours of the exhibition. If you are interested, please reach out via press@zpk.org.
