Zweite REO-Real Estate Opportunities GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, today has signed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of 1.000.000 shares in Alta Fides Aktiengesellschaft für Grundvermögen (ALTA FIDES AG), (approx. 14,18% of the voting stock). The shares sold come out of Mr. Norbert Ketterers, ALTA FIDES AG's main shareholder and CEO's private portfolio Zweite REO-Real Estate Opportunities GmbH is a fund managed by Corestate Capital AG.
CORESTATE Capital AG is an investment firm and asset manager having its seat in Zurich/Switzerland. Part of its investment portfolio are CORESTATE German Residential Limited and CORESTATE German Commercial Properties Fund. The two funds' target investment volume amounts to approx. 2 billion Euro. It's investors comprise e.g. ING, Lloyds TSB, CBRE Investors, Schroeders.
Moreover, Mr. Norbert Ketterer has granted Zweite REO-Real Estate Opportunities GmbH and Corestate Capital Beteiligungs GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, options to acquire further 1.044.500 shares in ALTA FIDES AG (approx. 14,82% of the voting stock). Zweite REO-Real Estate Opportunities GmbH and Corestate Capital Beteiligungs GmbH have been given proxy to vote such option shares. The options can be exercised until (and including) 31 Dezember 2009. The proxys are also limited until such date.
As a result of this transaction ALTA FIDES AG can count a first ranking real estate investor among its shareholders.
