The Munich based Data Modul AG is the European market leader in the area of display technology. Data Modul develops, manufactures and distributes innovative flat displays, monitors, electronic subassemblies, and complete information systems.
Effective 1/1/2010, Dr. Florian Pesahl became a new member of the Executive Board of Data Modul AG, taking over the position of Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Pesahl follows Patrick Wiedemann, who left the company on his own accord, on December 31, 2009.
Following his education in business administration in Regensburg and Passau, as well as a semester at the California State University, receiving a doctor's degree and taking post-doctoral courses, Dr. Pesahl began his career in the area of transaction consulting and corporate finance at Ernst & Young AG. He then was active at the Fichtl Corporation before joining Data Modul as head of corporate controlling. During this time, Dr. Pesahl was responsible for sales and marketing controlling, the preparation of the corporate plans, budget and expense analysis, as well as for the introduction of a new ERP system. Dr. Pesahl will be responsible for the departments finance, IT and legal in his new position as a member of the Executive Board and CFO.
