Brac Systems Inc. is a Canadian company active in the development, production and sales of greywater recycling systems and related technologies. The Company has developed a number of fully integrated systems for the recycling of greywater and harvesting of rainwater for residential and commercial markets. The Company is vertically integrated, covering all aspects from research and development to sales and installation, both directly and through its network of dealers. Founded in 2005, the Company has generated sales in more than thirty countries worldwide.
In addition to the greywater recycling and rainwater harvesting solutions, Brac Systems generates further revenues from related products and services such as pumping systems, filtration systems, flow monitoring, electronic control systems, software and consulting.
Dennis Yasar, President and CEO of Brac Systems, stated, "We are at an exciting stage in our corporate development. Whereas the first few years were mainly focused on developing our product lines, production capacity and marketing capabilities, we are now in a position where we can accelerate growth and benefit from the significant opportunity in this market. The intended listing is part of our long term growth strategy. Our choice for a listing in Germany was based on two considerations. Firstly, the cost of a German listing represents a considerable saving verses listing elsewhere. Furthermore, having grown up and having been educated in Germany, I am well familiar with the country and its markets and we hope to develop a number of initiatives related to Germany."
Greywater is wastewater generated from domestic activities and comprises around 50% of residential wastewater generated from all of a premises´ sanitation equipment (except kitchen and toilets). With fresh water becoming an increasingly scarce commodity around the world and with a greater focus on increased efficiency and improved environmental performance, the market for greywater recycling systems is expected to undergo accelerated growth over the coming years.
Brac Systems Inc. is a leader in its field due to its capability to deliver fully integrated systems from residential homes through to large institutional and commercial facilities. The Company benefits from government sponsoring of its research and development program, allowing for the development of low cost sophisticated systems. With its capabilities in systems integration, monitoring and control software, Brac Systems Inc. has developed solutions with faster and superior performance than the general competition. In its North American markets, the Company further benefits from having received full approval and certification of its various systems, creating a significant barrier to entry for both domestic and international competitors.
Brac Systems Inc. operates its commercial activities both directly and through an international network of distributors and systems integrators. The Company is furthermore a preferred supplier of many architects, engineers and project developers. With regulation stipulating that new institutional buildings in the US are required to include greywater recycling systems, this provides the Company with a strong sales driver in this region.
