Medical Malaysia: The worldwide market leader in eHealth has optimized its
organization in Asia. Therewith the company repositions itself as a strong
partner for the healthcare sector in Asia; competent staff is developing
customized solutions based on worldwide approved systems for customers on local
markets.
The renaming from Profdoc Sdn Bhd' into CompuGroup Medical Malaysia Sdn Bhd'
was the last step in the further development of the professional organizational
structures in Asia. Frank Gotthardt, CEO of CompuGroup Medical, emphasizes:
"Malaysia is the bridgehead for us to go ahead in opening up the Asian market.
To equip ourselves for that role we have re-aligned the existing organization.
We will continue investing in Malaysia." In the new organizational structures
potential and existing customers in the hospital segment will be offered an
extended product portfolio and more professional services. The cooperation with
partners is supposed to extend the range in the market.
Being an eHealth-expert CompuGroup Medical understands the complex and

One example is represented by the international SOS-Clinic in Peking: Running
around 400 clinics, it counts among the largest internationally acting providers
of ambulatory care. CompuGroup Medical has implemented new software for this
clinic which is supposed to be used worldwide in the network. What's more, the
so-called "Professional Medical Office (PMO)" has been accepted by the Malaysian
healthcare market and is recognized as comprehensive solution.
