A Swedish subsidiary of Jubii Europe N.V. (ISIN NL0000233195) is conducting a
lawsuit for substantial damages against the Swedish telecommunication services
company, TeliaSonera, for abuse of dominant position in relation to the internet
access business previously offered in Sweden. In a lawsuit by the Swedish
Competition Authority against TeliaSonera based on similar facts a fine was
issued against TeliaSonera. The fine is the highest fine that has been imposed
for abuse of dominant position in Sweden. The judgement of the Stockholm
District Court is not yet legally binding. Jubii´s subsidiary is represented by
the Swedish law firm Hammarskiöld & Co in the damages case.
Although the fact pattern of the Swedish court decision is similar to the
Swedish subsidiaries' case, there can be no assurance that it would prevail in
court proceedings and obtain a money verdict in its favour.
