Rose d'Or winners 2013 announced

Returning to EUROVISION, the Rose d'Or awards were given out tonight at an evening celebration dinner at the Square in Brussels. The awards were presented in six categories for the best and most creative entertainment television programmes from around the world. More than 300 entries from over thirty countries were submitted this year to participate in this prestigious competition.
The evening was hosted by popular Dutch TV personality and humanitarian Lucille Werner, with honoured guests Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz of Belgium in attendance at the ceremony. The awards left Switzerland for the first time in 52 years, being held as the final event of the 2013 Media Summit. The winners in the six competition categories are:
Comedy What If? Shelter for VMMa, Belgium Sitcom Spy Hat Trick Productions for British Sky Broadcasting, United Kingdom Game Show Oh Sit! The Gurin Company/405 Productions/Raquel Productions/Warner Horizon for the CW, United States Arts Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender Eagle Rock Entertainment for British Broadcasting Corporation, United Kingdom Reality and Factual Entertainment Make Bradford British Love Productions for Channel 4, United Kingdom Entertainment Gruen Sweat Zapruder's Other Films/ABC for Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Australia
The nominated programmes were announced in April 2013, after the first round of judging, during which a shortlist of the three best programmes in each of the six categories were selected. The six Heads of Jury, who formed the Final Jury, determined the best in each category earlier this week.
