Ad-hoc-Press Release Edisun Power Group/7C Solarparken
Edisun Power acquires from 7C Solarparken a 1 MW PV plant in Southern France
On December 16, 2015, Edisun Power and 7C Solarparken signed the purchase of the
1 MWp free field PV plant Sainte Maxime in Southern France. Edisun Power France
SAS acquires from 7C Solarparken NV 100% of the shares of Sainte Maxime Solaire
SAS and takes over the existing financing of the plant.
7C Solarparken decided to divest the park within the strategic context of asset
rotation as to generate an annual EBITDA gain of EUR 0.2 Mio. through disposals.
Through the sale of the Sainte Maxime installation, the objective for 2015 has
been comfortably achieved. The exit from this well-running park also brings an
end to the small presence of 7C Solarparken in France, and reinforces the
pure-play German vision of the company.
With this purchase, Edisun Power successfully continues to execute its growth
strategy. The French market is in terms of risk/return for PV investments an
interesting market, which Edisun Power already knows well through its existing
10 plants with 3.8 MWp. The new plant adds EUR 0.5 Mio. to the yearly turnover
and provides a further positive contribution to the net result.
