A Global Media Company Purchases the Hitachi ID Identity Management Suite

Hitachi ID is pleased to announce that one of the world's largest marketing and media companies - a European-based, multi-billion dollar enterprise, purchased the Hitachi ID Identity Management Suite for implementation throughout their business worldwide.

A billion-dollar, distributed company with hundreds of offices around the world must have highly scalable, stable, cost-effective and extremely reliable IT security systems. We are delighted that our Identity and Access Management solutions have exceeded all expectations of this customer in a proof of concept (POC) against all leading vendors."
The company has a global SharePoint project which requires the storage of all user identities in the Active Directory (AD). The Hitachi ID suite was able to recreate an LDAP structure within the AD for close to 100,000 users. Hitachi ID's scalability and unsurpassed number of connectors, all included in the base price, were decisive factors leading to this deal.

"We had a challenging time finding a solution that could support our Lotus Notes(R) installation as well as meet all our other challenging requirements.
