As of April 3, 2025, Green is significantly expanding its market position in the Swiss broadband market: through its collaboration with Salt as well as with other network providers, Green is giving private and business customers the chance to sign up for a unique, nationwide service on all major networks, providing first-class connectivity.

Green and Salt are today announcing the start of a broadband partnership. As a first step and effective immediately, Green will gain access to Salt's cutting-edge 10 Gbit/s fiber-based internet technology. As a result, Green's private and business customers benefit from unprecedented network diversity on the largest and most important networks in Switzerland, not to mention major local networks, too.

Green has been operating in Switzerland for 30 years and is regarded as one of the main trailblazers in the industry. "With Salt now on board - alongside our collaboration with Swisscom - and not forgetting the more than 80 local network providers - we're delighted to assume a pioneering role once again. We combine the best available offers, independent of the network, and pair them with our excellent service," explains Roger Süess, CEO of Green. "Switzerland's internet infrastructure is now highly standardized and is continually undergoing expansion in all regions. What sets us apart is the simplicity of our offering and the wide coverage provided, and wherever customers interact personally with our service team, they benefit from expert guidance and seamless support," adds Pius Grüter, Chief Operating Officer for the ISP Business at Green. The new partnership is expanding the existing offering and providing additional access to broadband internet - giving Green's private and business customers even more freedom in what they choose and what they use.

Max Nunziata, CEO of Salt, remarked: "This collaboration is an exciting milestone, laying the foundation for numerous opportunities that will benefit our partners, customers, and subscribers." Luis Hernández, Chief Strategy & BD Officer, added: "We are delighted to initiate this new activity joining forces with Green, leveraging our cutting-edge, ultra-reliable 10 Gbit/s fiber technology with Green's long-lasting experience and know-how."

All fiber-optic connections can be used in private households or for company connections with fixed IP addresses. Software-defined connections (SDWAN) are also available at a low cost and with centralized management. The new offering is also open to Green resellers.
