For Switzerland's National Day, the Swiss National Orchestra is bringing together outstanding Swiss classical musicians, who usually play in different international orchestras. The aim is to produce classical music at the highest level and make it accessible to a wide audience. At the same time, the SNO wants to convey the cultural values and rich musical heritage of Switzerland.

The SNO's debut concert on 1 August at 11 a.m. in the Casino Bern is intended to be a celebration for the entire population. Admission is free.
