The Principality of Liechtenstein is bringing action against the Federal Republic of Germany by filing an application to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. This will be the first time Germany has been a sole respondent before the United Nations' principal judicial organ. Following the submission of the application to the Court tomorrow, Friday 1 June 2001, we would like to invite you to a press conference to give you the opportunity to find out more about the substance of and background to the case.
