Kabira to Showcase Convergent Telco Solutions in Sun Partner Pavilion at ITU Telecom 2003

Kabira Technologies Inc., announced today that it will showcase market leading software solutions in partnership with Sun Microsystems at ITU Telecom 2003. Exhibited products will include the Kabira Mobile Messaging Gateway, Provisioning and Service Activation, Convergent Mediation and the OSA/Parlay Gateway. Executives from the company will also be present to discuss Kabira's recently announced support for Sun's Java Enterprise System, (code-named Project Orion). The event is on 12-18 October 2003 at Palexpo -- Geneva, Switzerland. Kabira will be hosting customers in the Sun Partner Pavilion, Hall 4, no 4.120.
Kabira Alliance with Sun:
In September 2003, Kabira announced its alliance with Sun to support the Java Enterprise System. Kabira's Infrastructure Switch software will provide Sun customers with a real-time transactional network services gateway that runs on a wide range of Sun hardware platforms. As part of the alliance Kabira will help drive new product development opportunities for Sun and its ISV network, based on its expertise in high-speed transactional switching software and solution frameworks built on the Kabira Infrastructure Switch.
"As Sun rolls out the Java Enterprise System platform, customers will be able to deploy our network services gateway to deliver and bill for new convergent and wireless Telco services," said David Marshall, vice president of corporate development for Kabira.
