pirobase now runs on HP-UX / New Market Potential
Pironet NDH has ported its Content Management software, pirobase, to the Unix operating system, HP-UX by Hewlett-Packard. In doing this, the software company has opened up a new market segment for itself for the sale and distribution of its standard software. Hewlett-Packard is now able to offer enterprise accounts, who use HP-UX in their server environment, the professional Content Management system pirobase and, in turn, react to current market demands.
"We have conducted load, performance and stability tests on HP-UX. The result: pirobase 4.2 runs reliably, is extremely fast and may be optimally scaled", reports Michael Jaszczyk, CTO at Pironet NDH.
To quickly push joint Content Management activities, Pironet NDH will be training Hewlett-Packard Consulting employees as pirobase consultants. After they have been successfully certified, they will be in a position to integrate pirobase for customers.
