Fraport AG and Cathay Pacific Sign New Freight-handling Contract for FRA

Frankfurt Main, Germany (ots)

Cathay Pacific Airways has again
extended its freight-handling contract with Fraport AG Frankfurt
Airport Services Worldwide for another three years at Frankfurt
Airport (FRA). Since 1993, the Asian airline has been a major
customer of Fraport's freight handling department, part of the
Aviation Ground Services and Logistics division. Retroactive to
September 1, the new contract runs until August 31, 2004. "We are
pleased to continue the positive work with Fraport's freight-handling
team," said Ray Jewell, Cathay Pacific Airways Cargo Manager Europe.
The contract signing at Cathay Pacific's Hong Kong headquarters was
attended by Prof. Manfred Schölch, Vice Chairman of the Executive
Board of Fraport AG, as well as James Barrington, Director Sales and
Marketing, and Kenny Tang, General Manager Cargo, both of Cathay
Pacific. Fraport was recently in Hong Kong with its Pantares alliance
partner Schiphol Group to celebrate the ground-breaking ceremony for
the construction of a new freight logistics center at Hong Kong
International Airport.
