Bad Soden, November 21st 2005 - TRIPLAN AG today released nine months report for fiscal year 2005. In Q3 (July 1st till September 30th) total sales (sales including inventory increase/decrease, extraordinary income and miscellaneous capitalised assets) increased by 8.5 percent to TEUR 6,037 (prior year: TEUR 5,566). TRIPLAN AG also accomplished break even. Accordingly operating result (EBIT) in Q3 improved by TEUR 440 from TEUR -412 in 2004 to 28. Due to negative financial result of TEUR -9 and income taxes at a value of TEUR -60 third quarter 2005 period result amounted to TEUR -40 (Q3 2004: TEUR -333).
Within the first nine months of fiscal year 2005 total sales fell by 4.3 percent to TEUR 16,950 (prior year: TEUR 17,708). EBIT for the first nine months 2005 improved by TEUR 932 to TEUR -298 (prior year TEUR -1,230). Period result for the first nine months 2005 stood at TEUR -424, an improvement of TEUR 651 compared to TEUR -1,075 for the first nine months 2004. This corresponds to improved earnings per share of -0.05 EUR (prior year: -0.14 EUR).
Beside the positive growth of total sales and operating result cash position could also be substantially improved. Liquid assets of TRIPLAN AG amounted to TEUR 1,950 by 30th September 2005 (compared to TEUR 811 by 30th September 2004). Equity ratio stood at 53.0 percent.
For the fiscal year 2005 the company expects to increase its total sales by 7 percent to TEUR 26,000. EBIT and period result will clearly be higher than 2004. Due to positive business prospects a positive operating result is forecasted for fiscal year 2006.
