Cologne, 14th May 2007. VIVACON AG (ISIN DE0006048911) grew its transaction volume by 450% to EUR 65.8m in Q1 2007 in comparison to EUR 12.0m in the same period of the previous year. In Q1 2007, revenues amounted to EUR 24.5m, which is an increase of 162% in comparison to EUR 9.4m in Q1 2006. EBIT increased to EUR 6.2m in Q1 2007 against EUR -1.5m in the same period of previous year. Net income reached EUR 3.3m in the first three month of the current year in comparison to EUR -2.7m in Q1 2006.
Earnings per share amounted to EUR 0.17 in Q1 2007 in comparison to EUR -0.14 in Q1 2006.
End of March 2007, the order backlog reached EUR 112.8m, which is an increase of 53% to the amount at the end of March 2006 (EUR 73.6m).
The total residential units currently owned by VIVACON AG already amount to some 11,000 units, which correspond to almost 90% of the total units sold in 2006. The management reiterates its announced full-year forecast of a net income in the amount of EUR 54-58m and an EPS of EUR 2.80-3.00.
