In the course of preparing the annual financial statements, the
Executive Board of Softing AG has subjected capitalized development
services to an impairment test. The Executive Board expects to
recognize an initial impairment loss of about EUR 1.7 million. The
amount is essentially attributable to the Automotive Electronics
division.
