Ludwigsburg, 24 June 2004. Jetter AG (ISIN DE0006264005) today publish their business report for the full fiscal year ended 31 March 2004. In the fourth quarter, the group realised sales of KEUR 3,768, 12 % more than in the preceding quarter. It should be stressed that EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) for the quarter at KEUR 285 is decidedly positive for the first time in three years (previous quarter: KEUR -436). EBIT was KEUR -43 for the quarter and KEUR -2,324 for the year. The consolidated loss for the year of KEUR -1,759 is 74 % lower than in the previous year (KEUR -6,861).
Management interprets this development as the confirmation of the announced positive trend-reversal through increasing acceptance of the JetWeb technology. This view is supported by the highest order intake in the companys history during the first quarter of the new fiscal year, amounting to 5.7 Mio. EUR, which could announce a phase of sustainable growth. A significant part of these orders concern an important new JetWeb customer. The current quarter, though, will be marked by expenses for the new orders, which are to be shipped and invoiced only after 1 July. The orderbook today amounts to 5.3 Mio. EUR, 87 % more than on 31 March. The complete report in electronic format can be downloaded from the companys website (http://www.jetter.de) or from the Deutsche Börse site (http://deutsche-boerse.com).
